Legal Notice: esta.visasyst.com is a privately owned service provider specializing in the Visa Waiver Program including the ESTA - Electronic System for Travel Authorization. Our mission is to help applicants understand the different aspects of the Visa Waiver Program.

ESTA stands for Electronic System for Travel Authorization. It is an online automated application system which determines whether a citizen from a Visa Waiver Country is allowed to travel to the United States and apply for admission to enter. ESTA is only related to traveling, it is not a visa requirement. You do not have to go in person to a U.S. embassy or consulate.

Foreigners with an approved ESTA can spend up to 90 consecutive days in the United States. However, if the traveler’s passport expires within this 90-day period the visa waiver will automatically become invalid.

The ESTA can be used to enter the U.S. multiple times during its 2-year validity period, for up to 90 days each time.

The ESTA is a multiple entry visa waiver valid for the purposes of tourism and business. It is also required to transit through an international airport in the United States.

The ESTA is valid for 2 years from the date of approval, or until the passport expires, whichever occurs first.

Travelers can use the same visa waiver for multiple trips to the United States during the 48-month validity period. Each stay must not exceed the 90-day limit. Once the ESTA expires, the passport holder can simply reapply using the same online process.

We strongly recommend that all applicants check the information they provide before submitting the application. If you submit your ESTA application form and later realize it contains incorrect information, please contact us immediately at info+esta@visasyst.com
